10 Bible Verses For Homeschool to Start The Day Right

If you’re a Christian mama who’s homeschooling, you often start the school day with prayers, devotions, worship, and/or reading the bible with your kids. But do you have any bible verses to pray OVER your homeschool? Bible verses to get your head in the game and steady yourself in the foundation of God?
10 bible verses to pray over your homeschool:
1. Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (A reminder that every lesson you teach is a seed for their lifelong path.)
2.Lamentations 3:22-23
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Today is a fresh start, full of His mercy.)
3. Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” (Every math problem, every messy art project is service to God.)
4. James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (You don’t have to homeschool alone — God generously gives wisdom.)
5. Psalm 143:8
“Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” (Ask God to guide your homeschool day with His steadfast love.)
6. Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Including patient teaching, messy days, and tough lessons!)
7. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Homeschooling is a beautiful fulfillment of this command.)
